The EverMetal Process

Replacing a metal roof can be expensive, time consuming and cost your business precious down time. Using the EverMetal system when restoring your metal roof provides the perfect alternative to keep your company moving forward at a fraction of the cost. The EverMetal system is simple, easy, and cost effective:

  • Step 1: Power wash and prep roof
    • All roofs need to be washed with a 3500 PSI power washer to clear any debris and dirt off the roof.
    • After the roof is cleaned and dry, an inspection of the roof is made to see what repairs may need to be made.
    • All details and flashings are inspected to make sure that they are functioning properly.
  • Step 2: Add primer
    • If there is any rust on the roof, there is a primer that is sprayed or rolled on those areas.
    • Primer is only needed where rust is present.
  • Step 3: Add Everseal sealant on all seams, fasteners, and penetrations
    • Everseal is a thick mastic sealant that is applied to fasteners, roof penetrations, and all seams where the metal overlaps horizontally and vertically.
    • Our Everseal sealant sticks to almost every surface allowing the team to be efficient, reliable, and consistent.
    • Its fast-drying time and ability to adhere even under water allows increased productivity and a quicker way to finish the project.
  • Step 4: Base coat after the Everseal is set up and dried
    • A base coat is applied to the entire roof that is either sprayed or rolled at an application rate of one and a quarter to one and a half gallons per 100 square feet.
  • Step 5: Top coat
    • The final top coat provides a long lasting coat that will extend the durability and life of the repaired roof.
    • This final process is either sprayed or rolled at an application rate of one and a quarter to one and a half gallons per 100 square feet.
