Project Description:
This building’s previous TPO roofing system had completely blown off in a previous storm. This left the decking completely exposed to the outside elements. The owner was fearful that once it rained it would destroy the interior of his building. After an inspection it was determined that a new spray polyurethane foam roofing system would be best for this restoration.
Project Steps:
- Install new 24 gauge metal edge at back of building with foam stop
- Install black foam primer where needed to prepared roof surfaces
- Install 1 ¼" - 1 ½" spray polyurethane foam on entire roof surface flashing around any other roof penetrations
- Add additional foam for drainage
- Apply medium gray base coat to entire roof surface at approx. rate of 1.5 gal/sq, back-rolling to fill
- Apply white top coat to entire roof surface at approx. rate of 1.5 gal/sq
- 10 year warranty
