Don’t Put Off Roof Repairs!

Your commercial building’s roof is the first line of defense against the elements.  No matter the region or climate, commercial flat roof systems must work to protect against all types of precipitation, strong wind, UV radiation, extreme temperatures, foot traffic, and storm debris.  When leaks and other problems develop, they can lead to serious property damage and costly repairs.  The good news is that even if you notice a leak, it doesn’t necessarily mean that you must replace the entire roof.  But getting leaks and other roof issues properly assessed by a roofing professional should be an urgent priority.  It never pays to procrastinate!

Roof leaks are more than just an annoyance.  In addition to reducing the useful lifespan of the roof itself, they can destroy your building’s interior and everything that it contains.  Water entering your building damages or destroys walls, floors, ceilings, furniture, and equipment.  Water or moisture on the floor creates slip and fall hazards, exposing you to potential legal liability.  And long-term moisture build-up will attract insects while enabling the growth of dangerous mold and bacteria.  The costs of putting off roof repairs far outweigh any perceived short-term benefits.

While many building owners assume that a full roof tear off and replacement is required to fix their roof issues, often there are more cost-effective solutions available.  A professional roof restoration and upgrade will in many instances solve the issues while giving you a roof that performs better than it did when new.  State of the art sealant and coating technologies provide a roof that is more durable and more energy efficient, which is better for both your wallet and the environment.

Everest Systems is a leader in high performance commercial roofing systems.  We supply GE silicone roof coatings and we also manufacture the very best acrylic elastomeric product and primer products, including an acrylic with ponded water resistance. We are also the only company to offer a silicone/urethane hybrid repair sealant that contains no plasticizers and can even be applied to wet surfaces.

Our technical know-how and resources allow us to offer Liquid Applied Membranes engineered for performance with the specific substrate and building owner needs in mind.  Everest roof systems are cost effective, lightweight seamless membranes that not only waterproof but also save you money. Both the acrylic and silicone liquid applied membranes are designed to last for warranty periods of up to 20 years.  Once installed, your new Everest Roof System will be a seamless membrane that is energy efficient, long lasting and renewable.
