Project Description:
As part of a new construction project, this facility required a roofing solution capable of addressing unique waterproofing challenges created by the building's location and design. One section of the new Phase IV building extended above the eave of the existing Phase III structure and intersected an exterior wall, creating complex transition points that traditional roofing systems could not effectively protect. Spray Polyurethane Foam (SPF) roofing provided the ideal solution by creating a seamless, fully adhered waterproof barrier across these critical areas.
Originally contracted as a 68,000-square-foot new construction project, RoofLine Services Company also installed the metal roof panels after the building erector fell behind schedule. Sheet metal cants and custom transition pieces were incorporated to support the application of Opticell 3.0 SPF roofing. The customer expanded the project to include an additional 22,000 square feet of the adjacent existing roof, bringing the total completed roofing system to 90,000 square feet.
